  I just received a call from [a rehabilitation facility] to discuss discharge planning on one of my claimant’s who has been in patient rehab for about 10 weeks. To make a long story short… The social worker called just to thank me for all the hard work on this case and he said, “It was a pleasure dealing with you and your company, it’s so nice to be able to talk to the same person who is always willing to help with a smile”. He also said that he never had to wait for any approvals and we were always “right on top of things”. He indicated that every time he has dealt with “comp” in the past, it was a nightmare.   just want to tell you that you have the most calming, caring voice and sense of interest of anyone I’ve been around. The telephone and myself have a long standing career together in different ways and when you speak to whomever you’re on the phone with you make that person feel like they are the ONLY concern of yours at that time. And they probably are. But it’s one thing to try to convey that and a whole other thing to embrace it with the way you speak. I feel comforted when you’re on the phone to someone else.
